Austrian-American actor, businessman,former politician and professional bodybuilder Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger was born on July 30, 1947 in Thal, a village in the Austrian state of Styria. He first gained fame as a bodybuilder, using that as a launching point to become a huge Hollywood star and, later, the governor of California.
Schwarzenegger became familiar with the audience through big screen blockbusters like Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator and The Expendables franchise.
