Secret Invasion is partially based on the marvel Avengers and X-Men comics crossover. The story involves a subversive, long-term invasion of Earth by the Skrulls, a group of alien shapeshifters who have secretly replaced many superheroes in the Marvel Universe with impostors over a period of years, prior to the overt invasion. Marvel’s promotional tagline for the event was “Who do you trust”
Kevin Feige said the series would not be looking to match the scope of the Secret Invasion comics storyline, in terms of the number of characters featured or the impact on the wider universe, and noted that the comic book featured more characters than the crossover film Avengers Endgame.
That will explore elements of the Secret Invasion comics. Secret Invasion episodes release date is early in 2023 before The Marvels Movie. The Secret Invasion Trailer will be released later in 2022.
