Jurassic World 3: Dominion (2022) NEW FINAL TRAILER | Universal Pictures

The Inspiration behind this video:

Director and co-writer of Jurassic World Dominion Colin Trevorrow just posted a new photo teasing what types of dinosaurs have made the United States their home, and which areas have the greatest density of new prehistoric inhabitants. Dominion marks the 6th film in the Jurassic Park franchise that began in 1993 with Steven Spielberg’s beloved original.

It is set to conclude the more recent trilogy of films that started in 2015 with Jurassic World and introduced the leads of Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard). Pratt and Howard return as the leads for Dominion, but it will also feature the original Jurassic Park trio of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum reprising their roles as Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler, and Dr. Ian Malcolm, respectively.

Dominion takes place four years after the end of 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, where some dinosaurs were freed from the Lockwood Estate, and others were loaded up in trucks and cargo carriers with destinations set all around the globe. As Jurassic World 3 will now reveal, humanity has since been presented with the daunting realization that humans and dinosaurs are likely not capable of coexistence.

While some present only minor threats, larger carnivorous dinosaurs threaten to create an ecological disaster that will change the face of the planet forever. One such colossally-sized dinosaur aptly named the Giganotosaurus has already been teased by Trevorrow as the ‘Joker’ of Jurassic World Dominion, in that it’s big enough to take on a T-Rex and only lives to create chaos.
