Jason Momoa Could Play The Lead In A ‘The Witcher’ Spin-Off
Aquaman actor will play the lead in ‘The Witcher’ spin-off!
It hasn’t been formally verified by the producers, so it may simply be a rumour. The story broke after a fan-created image of Jason Momoa alongside Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia in a planned poster for the show went viral. Jason Momoa also shared the photograph on his Instagram account, tagging Henry Cavill and writing, “What’s up Homie?”
The Witcher: Blood Origin spinoff series will begin 1,200 years before the events of The Witcher in an eleventh world and will centre on “the events that lead to the key ‘conjunctions of the spheres,” when the worlds of monsters, mankind, and elves combined to form one.” Declan De Barra will helm the six-part live-action series. The Witcher prequel is set to be released in 2021, although Netflix has yet to confirm the exact date.
While Jason revealed his excitement for another beloved property on Instagram this week after receiving an advance copy of the new Metallic box set. The package included four LPS, two CDs, and a Blu-ray documentary.
