Friendly corgi stops and hugs everyone he meets on his walks

Dog’s really are the world’s most loving animals – for many, many reasons – forever offering us unconditional amounts of love. Although some dogs are alot more loving than others, there is 100% no need to question what type of dog Wallace is – the adorable Corgi who gives out a lot of love and affection… or should we say hugs. Wallace understands that times are hard at the moment, and he wants to make things better for everyone with a big hug, well as big as his little arms can stretch! “Wallace can’t help but hug every single dog he comes across on one of his walks. He loves to play and won’t let another dog pass by without giving him an embrace,” says his owner,
Noah Raminick,. “He first hugged his friend Charlie, and we were blown away. They were hugging and kissing. Then he did it to a few other dogs he knows well, and we realised it was a ‘thing.” Wallace was never trained on how to give hugs. Hugs are just his own way of showing affection, and considering his middle name is ‘Casanova’, it comes as no surprise he’s such a little lover boy! He was given his name due to the heart-shaped nose as a puppy – perhaps this reflecting his loving personality. Like a true gentleman, Wallace only gets close when other dogs are welcoming towards him.
He gives them a brief sniff before getting on his two hind legs and wraps his little paws around them. If then the dogs are not up for a hug, like Wallace’s Cavapoo cousin Milo, he settles for a few kisses with them instead. No matter what size pooch he encounters, he is gentle with smaller dogs and fearless with the big boys! Wallace does not just give out hugs to dogs, but also his human family! One of his favourite things to do is to give out morning and evening cuddles, play fetch and chase his owner round the house! With a year full of social distancing, lockdowns, and quarantines, it’s nice to know someone’s out there is spreading some positivity!
