One of the most consistent actors in Hollywood, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is once again riding high thanks to his magnificent voice work in DC League Of Superpets. In the animated movie, Johnson voices Superman’s pet dog, Krypto The Superdog as well as his other DC character, Black Adam.
Though Krypto and Black Adam are super-powered beings who get to deal with unique situations each day, people can relate to some aspects of them. Many of Dwayne Johnson’s other characters are easy to relate to as well, especially when their attributes and mannerisms are analyzed using the 12 Zodiac signs.
Aries – Luke Hobbs (Fast & Furious Franchise)

Individuals that fall under the Aries constellation are defined by their courage, passion, and competitiveness. They can have flaws such as recklessness, and impulsiveness. Among Johnson’s characters, such traits fit the DSS agent Luke Hobbs.
As a law enforcement officer, Hobbs knows to act bravely. He hunts down Dominic Toretto and his crew with zeal, leading to some memorable confrontations. Hobbs doesn’t shy away from duels either, whether it’s facing off against inmates or the genetically engineered villain, Brixton Lore. As such he gets to prove himself as one of the most skilled fighters in the Fast & Furious franchise. But it’s Hobbs’ recklessness that gets him outfoxed by Dom’s crew in Rio.
Taurus – Hercules (Hercules)
Taureans are dedicated, practical dependable, and hardworking. As for weaknesses, they can be plagued by naivety and stubbornness. Johnson’s Hercules best fits such a description.
As the strongest warrior in the world, Hercules never disappoints when it comes to rescuing victims or leading forces on the battlefield. But as strong as he is, he gets fooled far too easily. Throughout the movie, audiences find it hard to pity him when he is betrayed by Hera as well as King Eurystheus.
Gemini – Joe Kingman (The Game Plan)
Geminis are one of the most adaptable signs of the Zodiac. Some are innovative and comical too. Contrariwise, they can be overly anxious, and inconsistent. A good number of these traits sum up Joe, a quarterback in one of the most inspirational sports movies.
Joe’s discovery that he has an eight-year-old is one that could be difficult for most people to digest, but he quickly adapts to his new role as a father. Stepping up aside, Joe is often undecided on matters regarding his career, something that almost renders him jobless.
Cancer – Davis Okoye (Rampage)
Cancerians have a reputation for being caring, compassionate and protective, and therefore, come off as very maternal. Though not always the case, there might also be vindictiveness beneath the kindness. The Primatologist, Okoye, owns such characteristics.
While most of the characters in Rampage appear keen on harming animals, Okoye goes to great lengths to protect the gorilla, George. Even when George grows in size and goes on a rampage, Okoye chooses to stay loyal to him rather than leave him to the authorities. Sadly, Okoye becomes too obsessed to the point where he is okay with the destruction of other lives so long as George is safe.
Leo – Maui (Moana)
Leos stay positive and confident. Such are the attributes of Maui, the deuteragonist of one of the best-ever Disney animated movies. When the coin is flipped, Leos can be self-centered, and boisterous.
Maui has a difficult childhood where he gets abandoned by his parents but remains positive, learns magic, and becomes a great trickster. But as cool as he is, he gets to go his own way when it’s for his own benefit. Such events play out when he abandons Moana after his tense confrontation with the villainous Te Kā.
Virgo – Spencer Strasmore (Ballers)
Virgos are clever, analytical, and extremely hard-working, but it can get to a point where they always forget everything else. In the HBO series, finance manager/CFO, Spencer, is the quintessential Virgo.
There’s always a lot at stake inside the boardrooms that control the NFL, so Spencer’s prioritization of work is understandable. But Spencer is clearly Dwayne Johnson’s least fun character since outside work, he never gets to have solid relationships or have a good time like the NFL players he represents.
Libra – Krypto The Superdog (DC League Of Super-Pets)
Libras are charming, diplomatic, curious, and social. They endear themselves easily to others, making great team players in the process. Yet, they may be controlling, and overly emotional. Such is how one of the best super-pets, Krypto is.
Krypto’s ability to relate well with others as he is able to rope them into his mission easily, and that’s the rescue of Justice League members captured by Lex Luthor. In spite of that, he isn’t too kind to those who oppose him. His controlling nature becomes all too clear when he blackmails Ace into participating.
Scorpio – Bob Stone (Central Intelligence)
Scorpios are determined, independent, intuitive, and proactive individuals. On the contrary, they may demonstrate blunt and jealous traits. One such person is the rogue agent Bob Stone from Central Intelligence.
That Stone grows from one of the weakest students in his high school to a muscular CIA agent is very impressive. Even more impressive is that he doesn’t mind working alone to bring down corrupt elements. That aide, his buddy Joyner makes it known that he would appreciate it if he wasn’t too rough with him.
Sagittarius – Frank Wolff (Jungle Cruise)
Sagittarius is described as one of the most adventurous Zodiac signs. They are energetic, chatty, and cunning, just like the tour guide, Frank. Unfortunately, Sagittarians can possibly be overly spontaneous, and temperamental.
From participating in the 1556 expedition in the Amazon Rainforest to locate the Tears of the Moon to guiding tourists through dangerous, Frank proves that no one dives into escapades better than him. The only thing that makes him unlikable is that he isn’t genuine. His biggest crime is relying on fake actors posing as dangerous tribesmen to make the experiences more fun for the tourists.
Capricorn – Roadblock (G.I. Joe: Retaliation)
Capricorns are driven individuals and are always at their best when they are put in charge. For that reason, they make the best bosses, rulers, and project leads, just like Commander Roadblock from G.I. Joe: Retaliation. On the contrary, they can be condescending.
Roadblock proves himself as the perfect team leader when he leads the surviving Joes on a mission to stop Cobra, who has infiltrated the highest levels of the US government. Despite leading a team that’s short on numbers, he manages to achieve his goal. However, Roadblock is depicted as being harsh on his subordinates who he feels are yet to attain his level of skill.
Aquarius – Smolder Bravestone (Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle)
This smart Zodiac sign is packed with individuals that are progressive and observant. Yet they can be on the pessimistic side. Among Johnson’s characters, Smolder (as controlled by teenager Spencer) from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is the definitive Aquarian.
Smolder/Spencer is a great asset to the rest of the players because he understands how the video game works better than anyone else. As such, he is able to analyze situations with ease once inside the game and anticipate all dangers. Still, the number of times he almost gives up is alarming.
Pisces – John Hartley (Red Notice)
Pisces are normally gracious and sincere and tend to be artistic too. As for weaknesses, Pisces can come off as weak-willed and indecisive, traits that can be linked to Hartley from Red Notice.
Hartley’s artistic nature is evident from the relentless manner in which he attempts to acquire the ancient Egyptian queen Cleopatra’s bejeweled eggs. Still, he gets to make way fewer decisions than his partner in crime, Nolan Booth. There isn’t a happy ending for him either. After going through hell to get the eggs and sell them, Hartley still ends up with nothing since their Cayman Islands accounts containing $300 million get frozen.
